LOS ANGELES — The Stockroom in Los Angeles has announced they are now offering curbside service, following "stay-at-home orders" due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Until California lockdown restrictions are entirely lifted, The Stockroom’s retail store will operate with limited hours and curbside service. Store hours are currently 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
"In response to the pandemic, The Stockroom has begun offering virtual shopping options through video and IM channels, which provides customers the opportunity to shop virtually with store associates for their curbside pickup orders," explained a representative. "To make shopping easier, The Stockroom has been offering virtual shopping options through text, video and audio channels on several platforms, including Google Hangouts, Facebook and Skype."
Customers in the Los Angeles area may be eligible for free local shipping during the pandemic for orders over $99.
"The pandemic has turned everything upside-down," said Stockroom Marketing Coordinator Christine Gillette. "We've been forced to be extremely innovative about how we can best serve our community. BDSM's culture of maintaining healthy boundaries has helped a lot in adapting as well as we can."
The Stockroom can be found in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles at 1769 Glendale Boulevard. For customer service, dial (213) 484-3882.
