Retail Outlet As You Like It, Author M. Christian Team for Online Classes on Erotica Writing

EUGENE, Ore. — Author, editor and publisher M. Christian will teach a two-part online class in writing erotica for As You Like It, the women-owned adult retail outlet in Eugene, Oregon, on June 14 and 28.

"This virtual class has been designed to appeal to those new to storytelling and to anyone ready to make the big, and frequently challenging, leap from enthusiastic amateur to well-seasoned professional," a representative explained.

"Sex Sells, Part 1: Getting Started as an Erotic Writer" is set for Sunday, June 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. (PDT). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

"Christian will playfully and enthusiastically get into everything you ever wanted to know about turning your imagination into actual stories and books, which could very well pave your way into someday actually getting paid to write erotica," said the rep.

The next installment, "Sex Sells, Part 2: How to Sell Your Erotic Writing," will take place Sunday, June 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. (PDT). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

This session will cover "how and where to submit books and stories, pay rates, royalties and rights, social media and publicity," continued the rep, plus "the pros and cons of self-publishing, the care and feeding of editors and publishers, how to write for a wide variety of erotic genres, the importance of stretching as a writer, plus how to deal with the inevitable emotional kicks-to-the-ego that can come from sending work out into the world."
