LOS ANGELES — U.K. apparel brand Be a Bimbo, in collaboration with the artist Exotic Cancer, is launching the limited-edition "Stay Sexy" range to draw attention to "extreme and unfair censorship facing sexually empowered women on the web."
The collaboration includes a pink "Censored" tube top and pink face masks printed with "Censored" and "Stay Sexy" messages.
"How many times have you had a post removed on social media for no reason other than the fact that you’re a total sexually empowered bad bitch? We have all experienced these absurd bans way too often. Many of us have lost entire accounts that took years to grow. It has to stop," said Alicia Amira, founder of Be a Bimbo.
"This new collection is for every doll who is sick and tired of being censored because of how she looks and dresses," she exclaimed. "It’s time to get loud about being kept quiet."
The company is working with "an awesome U.S. fulfillment house," Amira continued. "So now you never have to wait for us bimbos to pack your orders. And we break fewer nails. It's the best of all worlds."
