Marketing Consultancy MediaBitch Celebrates 15 Years Serving the Adult Industry

LONDON — Marketing and business development consultancy MediaBitch is celebrating 15 years in the adult industry this month.

Launched in 2002 in London,  MediaBitch worked with clients in art, fashion, charity, media and entertainment, before expanding into the sexual health and adult lifestyle markets in 2005.

The first foray into the adult sector for MediaBitch was handling the PR and marketing around the global launch of The Cone.

The company has worked with a variety of brands including sex toys, retailers, distributors, adult films, national sexual wellbeing events, sextech platforms and adult lifestyle holidays. They have being involved with global product launches including We-Vibe in 2008, organizing national consumer events such as Sexpo UK in 2015, and handling the day-to-day operations of adult lifestyle travel company Temptation Holidays from 2018 to 2010.

MediaBitch, a rep explained, “was one of the first companies to apply its mainstream marketing experience to the adult sector, successfully bringing sex toys to the mainstream with coverage in national print, consumer magazines, online publications, radio and product placements on terrestrial television across the globe, as well as marketing products in an innovative new way.”

Throughout its existence, MediaBitch has expanded its client portfolio and currently offers a complete bespoke service to adult-focused brands worldwide including PR, marketing, brand representation, sales, events, operations and business development.
