BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Larry Flynt's Hustler Casino in Gardena, California will re-open this morning at 10 a.m. after it closed over three months ago in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. A free "Welcome Back Brunch" will be available 24 hours a day through Thursday, June 25.
Hustler Casino voluntarily suspended operations March 14.
“We have been working very hard behind the scenes these past few months and have been looking forward to the day that we can welcome our employees and patrons back. We are glad that day is here. We look forward to seeing everyone — we missed you,” said Flynt.
The casino has taken "every precaution to ensure it is in alignment with all CDC and state guidelines," a rep explained, including staff and patron temperature checks upon entry, hand sanitizing stations and the requirement that face masks be worn at all times while on the premises.
"During the lockdown, the casino took the added measures of installing new carpet on the gaming floor, renovating bathrooms to ensure heightened hygiene and safety measures, plexiglass dividers on designated tables and a new gaming table layout on the floor to provide for social distancing," said the rep. "Increased cleaning efforts will continue for all surfaces, including table games and gaming chips, chairs sanitized between every use and all areas disinfected regularly."
