LAS VEGAS — The "Puppetry of the Penis" stage show will resume its residency at the Erotic Heritage Museum (EHM) on Friday in Las Vegas. Free hot dogs will be provided to all guests.
“Puppetry of the Penis,” originally created and produced by Simon Morley in 1996, began its EHM residency in April 2014, and went dark when the museum temporarily shuttered due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Last month, the EHM reopened with strict health and safety protocols in place.
"For its re-opening and the foreseeable future, 'Puppetry Of The Penis' will commence at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, adhering to the same guidelines as the rest of the museum," a rep explained. "Seating is limited to a 50-person maximum audience in the museum’s Jewel Box theater, and audience members must wear a mask in the theatre as well as within the museum proper."
On re-opening night, "unlimited hotdogs served to the audience viewing the world-famous, one-of-a-kind, penis tricks," said the rep.
EHM Executive Director Dr. Victoria Hartmann expressed excitement about the news.
It will be "a night of 'wieners' of every type," she said. "In all seriousness, it’s great to get 'Puppetry of the Penis' up and running again and to serve up some free food. Like the rest of Las Vegas, we want to celebrate life, but be ever so safe doing it."
