SAN FRANCISCO — XBIZ Award-winning director and videographer mr. Pam has formed her own production company, Wham Bam Pictures, with Falcon/NakedSword as its first client. Pam's new shingle will offer directing, photography, videography and additional production services to the legacy brand.
Today's news marks a transition in Pam's relationship with Falcon/NakedSword, where she has held the position of Director of Production since 2011.
NakedSword Originals, the platform's in-house label, has won the XBIZ Award for Gay Studio of the Year four years running. Pam has led production teams from San Francisco to New York City, Tel Avi, Barcelona and Prague, and London to Berlin. Earlier this year, Pam was shooting a Falcon production in Austria when the team had to be emergency evacuated overnight due to the coronavirus lockdown.
"Pam is fearless; she is a creative powerhouse that will do whatever it takes to make magic happen and get the perfect shot. I can’t ever imagine building NakedSword Originals without her. It was the perfect partnership and not only am I proud of what we produced, I will cherish my friendship with her forever," said Tim Valenti, company president.
Pam has already contracted with the company for several productions for the remainder of the year and into 2021.
"I love NakedSword, it's been my life for almost 20 years, and will continue to be a big part of what I do creatively moving forward. Tim Valenti gave me my first real job in gay porn in 2003 after I left my position as creative director for CNET/News.com," she recalled. "Since then, we've been on an incredible journey which has created memories that I'll never forget. I couldn't be more proud of the body of work we created together at NakedSword. Tim gave us the ability to explore themes that I feel go well beyond porn and serve as a document of gay history from the closing of San Francisco's historic Nob Hill Theatre, to gay marriage being legalized and the nudity ban in San Francisco."
"I will always be grateful for the opportunities NakedSword has given me over the years, and it's because of those opportunities that I'm able to branch out and do new things," she continued. "I've started my own production company, where I will direct and produce large projects from conception to videography, photography and film production. I'm really excited about what the future holds and the projects I have coming up for the rest of the year and beyond."
