MADRID — Mainstream channel Starz’ streaming service Starzplay announced yesterday a partnership with two Spanish-language studios to produce a fiction series about Spain’s adult industry, revolving around the life of Nacho Vidal.
According to Spanish adult news site La Gaceta Uncut, the Bambú and La Claqueta PC studios are currently developing “Nacho Vidal, Una Industria XXXL” (“Nacho Vidal, a XXXL Industry”) for Starzplay.
“Demonstrating that his talents go way beyond his famous 9.8 inches, Nacho changed the rules of the game in the 1990s becoming an international superstar,” said a Starzplay rep.
Although casting is still to be finalized, Vidal commented via Instagram that “after 16 years in the business, someone finally has the guts to tell my story… Not the press version or what you see on TV… Mine, from my mouth, the true one.”
The famed Euro performer was recently in the news when he was arrested over a DMT-related death in one of his properties.
Vidal has been the subject of several Spanish language documentaries, and his 2004 autobiography, “Nacho Vidal: Confessions of a Porn Star” (with David Barba), was a Spanish best-seller.
