Streamate Touts Successful Colombian, Latin American Outreach

LOS ANGELES — Streamate is trumpeting over 1,300 registered attendees at its first virtual "Streamate Workshop" designed specifically for Colombian and Latin American markets.

The three-day event served as "a virtual opportunity for models and studios to connect in seminars, master classes and meetings specifically tailored to increase success and profit," a rep explained. "The Streamate Workshop was completely free, with no sponsors and no sales. The goal was to bring the best content with the best professionals in the industry to everyone, regardless of the platform they work on."

A wide range of speakers and panelists was drawn from all sectors of adult, among them Alejadollts, Naomy Carter, Cianurotips, Alli Coper, Ivan Cuellar, Luisa Fernanda Ceballos Gallego, Julio César García, Olivert Cárdenas Gil, Stiven Gómez, Avril Green, Juanita Bother K, Alex Lecomte, Liacam, Little Sofie, Dan Lopez, Megan y Max, Afrodita Moore, Yiset Mosquera, Juan Carlos Ocampo, Alejandra Osorio, Angelo Palomino, Anthony Rivera, Rousex and Linda Suárez.

“We always wanted to do something like this, and the global pandemic just gave us the perfect opportunity," said Christophe Peyras, Streamate workshop organizer. T"he goal was not to be an event about Streamate, but about camming, and that was very important that it not be a sales pitch but bring actual value to an audience regardless of the platform they work on, and I think we succeeded in that. For our first event of this nature, the turnout was amazing, and the feedback we’ve had so far is very humbling. We’re already thinking of a U.S. version as well as other global markets in the future."

Panels and seminars included "The American Market," "The Colombian Market," "Technology in Webcams," "How To Get Started On Webcams," "Train Successful Models In Today's Market," "Learn From The Professionals," "Social Networks For Camgirls," "The Importance Of Supplementing Your Broadcast With Offline Content" and "Mental Wellness," plus Happy Hours and a Wrap-Up session for extra mingling.

Liacam, a Colombian camgirl and YouTube personality, enthused about the experience.

"It is always necessary to have spaces where the webcam community meets to share knowledge with each other," he said. "The Streamate Virtual Workshop taught us the most complex to the simplest things — always with an expert in the industry willing to teach the next generations everything they know. After an event of such magnitude, we are all left wanting more, more learning, more knowledge, more webcamming. The [event] gave us three days full of empowering knowledge where the webcam community had space to share experiences from objective to practical points of view."
