'Edge Play' Author Jane Boon to Moderate #SexTalkTuesday

LOS ANGELES —  Edge play will be the main topic of conversation when Dr. Jane Boon steps in as guest moderator for tomorrow's edition of the Twitter-based chat show #SexTalkTuesday.

The program, produced by Sssh.com owner Angie Rowntree, recently shifted to a biweekly format and a new timeslot of 5 to 6 p.m. (PDT).

“It is so exciting to have Jane Boon as our guest moderator this week,” said Rowntree. “Many subscribers on Sssh.com and participants in #SexTalkTuesday have expressed interest in edge play — and who better than the author of 'Edge Play' to lead us in a provocative and fun discussion."

Boon "studied technology and policy at MIT," a rep explained, "before diving into writing erotica."

"Jane has also written for publications like The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, Time.com, McSweeneys and TravelandLeisure.com. Jane enjoys improv and playing dress-up, including the time she wore a corset, garters and thigh-high stockings as a dominatrix in the Fox TV series, 'Gotham.' 'Edge Play' is her first novel."

Boon described her novel as "'50 Shades of Grey' meets 'The Big Short 'by way of 'Billions,' only the women wield the whips and the men submit."

To take part in Tuesday's discussion, follow the #SexTalkTuesday hashtag. Visit the show online and on Twitter for additional details.
