BIPOC-AIC Sets 'Sex Magick' Seminar for Thursday Night

LOS ANGELES — BIPOC-AIC will host the free virtual panel "Whore-Lo-Ween: The Benefits of Ritual Sex Magick" Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. (PDT) hosted by Jessa Jordan and moderated by Lasha Lane.

Scheduled speakers include Xerlina Devine, Halo the GxdBody, Valerie Merced, Nikki Morgan, Madame Rho Opulence and Dani Rose.

"Sex magick fuses sexual exploration with ritual, religious or spiritual practices to manifest money and goals. Ritual sex magick is taboo for many POC, as its Indigenous and pagan roots directly challenge often colonized perceptions of spirituality and Judeo-Christian religious belief systems," explained a rep for BIPOC-AIC — the Black, Indigenous and People of Color Adult Industry Collective.

"Panelists will define and contextualize sex magick by sharing their unique experiences and connecting to ancestral practices in an open and judgment-free space," continued the rep. "The event covers standard tools for building a ritual practice, ethics surrounding consent, the importance of lunar cycles in ritual work and harnessing the power of both partnered and solo sex magick."

The night's schedule of events also includes "guided interactive experiences, a breakout virtual after-session" and a live Q&A following a screening of "CrashPadSeries Ep. 305: Halo the GxdBody & La Muxer Diosa" from Pink and White Productions.

"Costumes and makeup are highly encouraged," said the rep. "Sex workers and allies interested in unlocking and channeling erotic energy to manifest their deepest desires and financial goals should sign up."

Reserve a spot for the seminar, as well as other upcoming events, on Eventbrite. The lineup of scheduled speakers may change due to availability.
