HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Friends of industry publicist Daniel Metcalf have established an emergency relief fundraiser after his Orange County home caught fire on Wednesday.
The following is the description provided by the GoFundMe organizers:
In a horrible incident of this damnable year 2020, Daniel’s house caught fire November 4, 2020.
Daniel made it out alive, as did Bijoux the cat. Another young kitty, Molly, unfortunately lost her life.
Anyone who knows Daniel knows that he lives with an open heart and an ever-optimistic spirit seeing the best in others and in our world. He has spent countless time volunteering with animal shelters, feeding the cat colonies around Huntington Beach, fundraising for animal shelters and fundraising for many other causes all around the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
He’s always been the first to start a fundraiser for those in need and now Daniel has lost nearly all of his possessions in this fire and Daniel needs us!
As his friends and family and loved ones, let’s dig deep and help a brother out.
Together we can help him get back on his feet and help replace some of the things he has lost — though nothing can replace his little Molly.
Please leave some funds here then give him a call and tell him how much he means to you.
Let’s help each other out.
