Williams Trading Collects 3 Nods from 2021 XBIZ Awards

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Williams Trading Co. and its e-Learning platform Williams Trading University are celebrating three 2021 XBIZ Awards nominations.

Williams Trading is contending for "Distributor of the Year" and "Progressive Distributor of the Year," while Williams Trading University earned a citation as "Retail Education/Training Program of the Year."

"The adult industry has faced a lot of challenges during 2020 as COVID-19 forced most of the United States to shut down due to quarantine earlier in the year, but the adult industry — never one to back down from challenges in its decades-long history — didn’t let the pandemic get them down," noted a rep.

"Like most mainstream businesses, the adult industry went digital," the rep added, "utilizing Zoom and social media platforms to stay connected, train retail employees on products instead of making in-store visits, and host the much-anticipated industry trade shows remotely."

The XBIZ Awards ceremony is pivoting to a digital presentation in 2021.

"In the past, only attendees of these shows had been able to view the glitz and glamor of the awards, so this new direction allows for an inclusivity that allows everyone in the adult community to watch and cheer on their friends and colleagues as they are recognized for their love and dedication to this business," said the rep. "The nominees in each category include leading manufacturers, bestselling products and well-known names in the business, but along with industry giants, smaller companies and new faces have earned their peers’ recognition, making the competition stiff."

"Williams Trading is honored to be recognized for their dedication and hard work in the industry, and congratulates all of the nominees," concluded the rep.

In related news, Williams Trading Sales Representative and Brand Ambassador Paul Reutershan has been nominated for a 2021 XBIZ Exec Award.
