MONTREAL — Adult Time has debuted the four-part docu-series "Poly Family Life" starring AKGingerSnaps and her partners Lana Mars and Smassh.
A rep described the content as "a perfect fit" for the platform's rubric, "Porn Done Differently." It is also the first series for Adult Time "created and submitted entirely by a model, a project that is both unique and up-to-the-minute in its design."
"Poly Family Life" is "a refreshingly new definition of what it means to be a family, tagging along with a polyamorous throuple and their friend — all adult performers— as they take an epic journey to show how polyamorous relationships actually work," said the rep, "from the day-to-day challenges of navigating complicated family dynamics to its many benefits and rewards."
AKGingerSnaps decided a road trip was the solution to the novel coronavirus lockdown earlier this year.
“When the COVID pandemic hit, we didn't want to be quarantined to four walls and a roof. It was about to be summertime in Alaska [with] the most amazing scenery," she said. "Adventures happen here."
"I have wanted to take a trip like this and just live like nomads for a long time, so COVID and the ability to earn an income remotely as long as we had a stable internet/data connection created the opportunity for us to take the leap into this trip," she explained. "And we wanted to document and share all of our fun experiences along the way.
"We quarantined in nature as a family, experiencing so much more enrichment than we would have confined to a house," noted Ginger. "It brought us closer together as a throuple, which we had hoped for in the beginning — and we wanted to work with Adult Time to showcase our poly life and love."
