LAS VEGAS — Sheena Rose has penned an op-ed for the current issue of XBIZ World, now available in print and digitally.
“A Career Change from Porn to Indie” looks at the pros and cons of being an adult star in mainstream and filming scenes for top-shelf studios and the liberating move to being both a clip artist and cam model.
Rose also discusses the transition between her two careers and how to make the leap successfully.
“She’s making her mark in adult in a whole new way and doing it on her own terms by controlling her money, how she looks on camera and choosing what she wants to do when producing content and going on cam,” said a rep.
“I think a lot of models feel the same way that I do,” Rose commented. “Working in mainstream porn can be daunting. There’s are many things they don’t tell you when you enter the industry and what it’s really like, so you need to come to a decision on your own. I think a lot of girls enter the biz thinking you will only make bank if you got the mainstream route, but that’s really far from the actual truth.”
“I hope my op-ed piece will help newbies as well as industry vets,” Rose added.
“A Career Change from Porn to Indie” is available in the online and print editions of the January issue of XBIZ World. The op-ed piece is showcased in the Clip World section of the magazine and starts on Page 80.
