Spectrum Boutique Celebrates 2021 XBIZ Awards Win

NEW YORK — SpectrumBoutique.com is celebrating its 2021 XBIZ Awards win as "Online Retailer of the Year — Pleasure Products."

Recipients of the 2021 XBIZ Awards, presented by MyFreeCams, were revealed Thursday, January 14 during a live broadcast on XBIZ.tv.

"Established in 2015, Spectrum is a sex toy store that is pleasure-positive and intends to inspire — not instruct customers. Instead of categorizing their toys by gender, they focus on the functions and different ways a toy can be used," explained a rep.

The rep noted each product Spectrum carries is carefully selected and body-safe and strives to create "a unique opportunity to celebrate self-love and encourage conversations about sexual wellness for customers. The retail company offers information that reflects the sex education they want to see in the world through the educational magazine section of their site called Spectrum Journal."

CEO Zoë Ligon expressed gratitude for the recognition.

“We could not be more excited about receiving this distinct honor! None of this would have been possible without our customers or my team of educators, designers, writers, and others who make up our dynamic team," she said.

"I also want to thank Nalpac for their support as an operations resource as well shipping our orders," she added.

Sex toys, said Ligon, "can be used by anybody, so by removing the gendered language from our online boutique, we hope that opens up possibilities so that people can experience pleasure on their own terms."

In 2021, the store plans to "expand its market reach with more product selections from new vendor partners and cutting-edge website features that provide more ways to engage our customer base," added the rep. "The entire Spectrum Boutique team is honored to receive the 2021 XBIZ Award and appreciate all of their industry friends who have supported us throughout the years."
