LOS ANGELES — Vixen Media Group (VMG) has inked Brad Armstrong to an exclusive "six-figure contract collaboration" that begins with "Love Triangle," which goes live Friday on Vixen.com.
The six-month deal, which formally begins in May, includes "at least three big-budget scenes produced for the VMG brands," noted a rep.
"Armstrong is a legendary player in the adult film industry, with more than 30 years of experience as a performer and 26 as a director — notably for his many award-winning contributions on behalf of Wicked Pictures," the rep said. "His new deal with VMG marks a profound continuation of his legacy as an inspirational filmmaker for a new generation."
Armstrong said his new venture was an unexpected career twist.
"I was pretty sure my career as a director was over," he recalled. "Gone were the days of big-budget features. I was on my way to retire on a secluded beach in the Bahamas and just as I was packing my last suitcase, Steve and Mike at VMG reached out."
"I had an incredible relationship with Steve Orenstein at Wicked Pictures that spanned 25-plus years. Those memories will always be nearest and dearest to me, but looking forward, I’m excited to see what this new chapter with VMG brings and can’t wait to get started on some amazing new projects for 2021."
"Love Triangle" centers on exclusive performers Avery Christy and Naomi Swann in a fencing competition that includes the women vying to score points with their exacting coach (Mick Blue).
In addition, Armstrong has already filmed "several sizzling scenes" that will debut in the coming weeks across the VMG brands.
“We are excited to bring Brad into the VMG director lineup. After a thorough vetting with our creative team, he had the balls to print out every industry award he’s ever won, drop it on the table, and told us all to go fuck ourselves," VMG Executive Producer Mike Miller said.
"We love this guy. And we think the fans will, too," added Miller.
