Jessica Drake Talks Porn Literacy, Sexual Wellness at Chapman University

ORANGE, Calif. — Wicked Sensual Care brand ambassador and Wicked Pictures contract star Jessica Drake returned to Chapman University earlier this week to discuss porn literacy and sexual wellness with the students of "Psychology 340: Human Sexuality," taught by Associate Professor Dr. David Frederick for the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences.

Chapman is a private research university encompassing 10 schools and colleges, noted a rep.

"Utilizing a virtual format, Jessica addressed the class of undergraduates regarding a host of subjects, including sexual health, relationships, feminism, tolerance, boundaries and consent. A popular Chapman University guest, Jessica has appeared on campus to conduct workshops, lead talks and speak alongside fellow industry activists and advocates," the rep said.

Porn literacy, explained Drake, "becomes more important with each passing day and as the opportunity presents itself, it’s vital that we continue the conversation."

"Having the privilege of sharing my lived experiences as a sex worker, performer, sex educator, director and, most of all, human being with the students in David Frederick’s class was very fulfilling," she added.  "I’m grateful to the attendees for the open-minded questions they prepared for me and I look forward to the next [visit]."

Frederick described Drake as “an exceptional speaker. I would highly recommend her as a speaker for any class related to media issues, gender or sexuality."

In related news, Drake recently hosted a new AMA for members of Wicked.com.

"Great things are in the works at Wicked, and I wanted to make my return to the members forum by answering some pressing questions that our fans have," she enthused. "I’m looking forward to the projects in the pipeline for 2021, and my Q&A was just a taste of things to come."
