LOS ANGELES — Lydia Love, a 2018-19 XBIZ "Best Female Clip Artist" nominee, has expanded her brand outside of adult content by launching her own clothing line, Internet Girlfriend.
The brand grew out of Love’s passion for "making people feel beautiful" and her desire to be a business owner. As Love told XBIZ, “I always wanted to be a business owner one day, and I am at the point in my adult career where this can be a reality for me, and I have the time to take it very seriously.”
With so many fashion lines on the market, Love wanted her line to be welcoming to any body type.
“My clothing brand was created with the intention to curate a store that any woman, of any body type, can shop and feel beautiful,” Love shared. “I think that my store being inclusive has helped it expand quickly as many of our customers feel accepted and happy to shop with us. Some stores do well because the company is selling them a lifestyle image, but I love that my store lets customers know that we appreciate them exactly as they are no matter what they do for work or what size they wear.”
While made for a general audience, Internet Girlfriend also intersects with Love’s adult entertainment work. "[Some] of our models, such as Leila Lewis, are in the industry,” Love said. "Even our photographer, Ashlee Juliet, has done professional scenes.”
