Falcon/NakedSword Signs Marc MacNamara as Lead Director

SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword has signed Marc MacNamara as Lead Director for NakedSword Originals, where he will develop and direct narrative features, original series and special projects for the brand.

MacNamara earned a pair of 2021 XBIZ Awards in January for "Gay Director of the Year" and "Gay Movie of the Year" for his NakedSword Originals feature "A Murdered Heart." Recently, he has directed "Salty Boys," "I Love New York" and "Bare: Sleaze in the Keys," as well as the live erotic game show "Play."

He will also co-host the forthcoming Falcon/NakedSword podcast "Podographic."

"In real life there are different forms of sex; there's hook-up sex, relationship sex, hate-fucking, make-up sex, just as there are different forms of porn and ways to create adult content," said MacNamara. "I'm thrilled to be working with NakedSword because they are allowing me to go outside of the cookie cutter box of porn and do projects like 'A Murdered Heart,' the game show 'Play' and our new 'EveryBODY' series which mirrors real-life attractions to the gamut of different body types which porn can often overlook."

"[Company president] Tim Valenti and NakedSword embrace the various forms porn can take so I'm confident we will create some really great movies this year," he added.

Valenti praised MacNamara as "highly creative and always thinking of new ways to reinvent the medium."

"After working with Marc on several projects last year, it was clear that not only can he deliver beautiful features and scenes, but he's also pleasure to work with," said Valenti. "Now that Marc is part of the team officially, I'm looking forward to producing a more creative and impactful projects with him this year and beyond."
