ASACP Names CAM4, TES Affiliate Conferences, Pineapple Support as May Featured Sponsors

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has named CAM4, TES Affiliate Conferences and Pineapple Support as its Featured Sponsors for May 2021.

“Among the industry’s most respected companies,” a rep explained, “ASACP’s Featured Sponsors offer valuable examples of how corporate responsibility, ethical operation, and proactive measures help protect minors and other viewers from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials online.”

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning said that the nonprofit association’s success relies on market-leading companies, organizations and service providers that are willing to assume a leadership role in the fight to keep minors out of and away from adult-oriented materials.

“By supporting the association and taking several simple steps to restrict access to their apps and sites, ASACP’s sponsors promote online child safety and help protect the innocence of youth,” Henning explained. “By educating publishers and stakeholders about the need for these measures and how they can best be implemented, ASACP continues to make a positive difference in children’s daily digital lives.”

The financial and material support that ASACP receives from its sponsors, including CAM4, TES Affiliate Conferences and Pineapple Support, “power its 25-year record of success and enables its free child protection resources; including market-specific Best Practices and a Code of Ethics for online businesses, app publishers, and all operators of age-restricted websites,” a rep said.

May’s Featured Sponsors include:

CAM4

An ASACP Title Sponsor and Advisory Council Member whose support extends back to 2012, CAM4 is vigilant about online child protection, due to its operation of live video chat sites where minors my attempt to access these platforms and misrepresent their age in attempts to become paid performers on them.

The global nature of this business (with varying documentation requirements in different jurisdictions) and the physical separation between the company and its contractors, make it a daunting proposition to ensure that performers and viewers are of legal age. Because of these challenges, ASACP offers a stringent set of Best Practices tailored to the specific needs of live cam site operators, which CAM4 benefits from. CAM4 also takes additional measures such as the use of the RTA label to block children from its site — illustrating a caring, proactive approach to keeping children safe.

These steps also include a warning page overlay that notifies viewers that no CP is present on the site and that anyone posting or seeking underage material will be reported to authorities, with the company aiding in the prosecution of these users — sending a clear message that it will not tolerate children accessing or being displayed on the CAM4 site.

TES Affiliate Conferences

An ASACP Sponsor since 2010, TES Affiliate Conferences — formerly The European Summit (TES) — was founded in 2009, with the event bringing together professionals from the online entertainment industry, e-commerce, financial, gaming, gambling, dating, forex, binary options, health, nutraceuticals, and many other markets for an intensive three-day networking event.

From the onset, TES was intent on creating a great networking experience for its attendees and delegates because, in our high-tech world, it is still of supreme importance that excellent interpersonal relationships be developed and maintained, as they are just the cornerstones of building a successful business.

TES is also one of the association’s most stalwart supporters over the years, providing considerable, consistent assistance that has enabled ASACP to spread the word about the importance of online child protection to operators across Europe and beyond.

“TES Affiliate Conferences attracts Europe’s most influential adult media companies, making it a prime venue for ASACP to deliver its message of the need to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment,” Henning explained. “As a show of its support, TES provides a high level of hospitality to the association, including numerous fundraisers and complimentary event amenities, illustrating the range of opportunities beyond direct financial support that companies have when it comes to helping ASACP.”

Pineapple Support

An In-Kind Media Sponsor since 2019, Pineapple Support Society provides free and subsidized professional therapy and counseling services for all persons working in the online adult industry, regardless of their gender, ethnic origin, social status, age, or sexual orientation.

Pineapple Support offers an ever-growing team of sex-worker-friendly, kink-aware therapists who provide one-on-one therapy sessions as well as weekly support groups, workshops, and webinars. Delivering free, anonymous, 24/7 emotional support. Pineapple Support Society is a registered US 501c3 nonprofit organization that raises funds to help with the costs of professional counseling, coaching, and therapy for those who need it.

“The association is grateful for the continuing commitment, generosity, and leadership displayed by our sponsors, including long-term contributors such as CAM4, TES Affiliate Conferences, and Pineapple Support, and we encourage other market leaders to join us in our mission,” Henning concluded. “ASACP’s sponsors take action in the battle for online child protection, and your company can too.”

“ASACP is grateful and humbled by the commitment, generosity and leadership displayed by its sponsors, including CAM4, TES Affiliate Conferences and Pineapple Support,” Henning concluded. “ASACP’s Featured Sponsors take action concerning the problem of online child protection, and so can you and your company, too.”
