BERLIN — Lustery has announced the release of a new booklet, titled “12 Days of Self-Sex,” to commemorate "Masturbation May" as part of a monthlong campaign.
“Masturbation is like eating an Oreo — there’s no wrong way to do it,” said a rep. “And there are many more ways to do it than you might imagine.”
The rep explained that “people masturbate in a dazzling variety of ways, from humping furniture to positioning their genitals underneath the bath faucet to using sex toys — and if you usually masturbate in the same way, trying something different can help you discover new things about your body and experience more pleasure.”
Lustery said they want to “challenge the notion that there is a ‘right’ way to masturbate.”
“Masturbation is something that is still stigmatized and considered shameful for many, leaving a lot of people feeling underrepresented,” the rep added. The guide provides “a few fun tricks to shake up one’s masturbation routine and drive home the fact that self-love is all about finding what feels good. By incorporating a new exercise each day, we believe that within 12 days, you’ll be an expert on pleasing yourself.”
“We dare you,” the rep added.
The booklet’s “12-Day Masturbation Challenge” was prepared with input from an intimacy coach, a sex shop owner, a sexologist, a psychologist and the “Lustery couples” of performers. It is inclusively designed to be used by people regardless of gender or anatomy.
