Coquette Introduces '2021 Darque' Lingerie Collection

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — Coquette International is now accepting pre-orders, ahead of a late Summer/early Autumn delivery, for its 2021 Darque collection comprising five bondage-inspired boxed pieces and eight sleek lingerie styles.

"This year, Coquette designers expanded their selection of boxed styles as a response to increased demand and positive sales statistics. These pieces feature bold metal notions and classic fetish details like chains, lace-ups and light-duty restraints," a rep explained.

"True to the Darque by Coquette brand, many of the lingerie styles incorporate wet look and matte wet look paired with sheers. This year designers also selected embroidered fire print tulle, adding some flare to the mix," the rep added.

Head Designer Elaine Carson said the company sought to bring "a retro vibe" to this year's collection, based on fashion trends.

"By combining fashion-forward silhouettes with the nostalgic flame-printed tulle, we think we’ve created something our customers will really gravitate towards," she added.

Additional highlights, noted the rep, include "a military aesthetic inspired teddy and waist cincher with versatile strap details and gleaming gold hardware, a three-piece set with ultra-sexy cutouts and mix-and-match accessories."
