SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword will present the "2021 Miss Pineapple Pageant" on June 20, a virtual fundraiser to benefit Pineapple Support, featuring top gay adult stars as they transform into drag queens.
"Fans are invited to watch as today’s hottest porn stars turn into stunning dolls and compete for the coveted title of 'Miss Pineapple' in this one-of-a-kind pageant and virtual live show," a rep enthused. "The worlds of porn and drag collide in a spectacular event that celebrates diversity and self-expression while raising money for mental health."
Producer and Falcon/NakedSword Creative Director Sister Roma and reigning XBIZ "Gay Director of the Year" Marc MacNamara will return to host the show.
Guest judges are currently set to include performer-comedians Wesley Woods and Silvia Saige, reigning XBIZ "Gay Performer of the Year" Max Konnor and "RuPaul's Drag Race" breakout star Detox.
The performers who will strut their stuff down the catwalk are Adrian Hart (aka "Serenity Dai"), Jack Hunter (aka "Tera Dactyl"), Liam Riley (aka "Bambi Wadley") and Jay Seabrook ("Sinna Moon").
2020's "Miss Pineapple" Dakota Payne (aka "Gemini Dai") will also be on hand to pass the crown to a new winner.
“I’m thrilled with this year’s lineup and judging panel,” Sister Roma said. “I know these contestants are going to bring it, and they better, because Detox is in the house — officially!”
Falcon/NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti also sits on the board of Pineapple Support.
"The mental health and well-being of our performers is a top priority in the adult industry. I’d like to thank our partners for joining us to sponsor this year’s show,” Valenti noted. “Thanks to their generosity, 100% of funds raised from this event will go directly to Pineapple Support.”
The "2021 Miss Pineapple Pageant" will broadcast live on Twitch and NakedSword.com on Sunday, June 20, at 3 p.m. (PDT). The event is free to watch; donations to Pineapple Support will be accepted.
Sponsors include BelAmi, CockyBoys, Disruptive Films, Flashback, Mr. Man and Treasure Island Media.
