BIPOC-AIC Releases Year-in-Review Report, Strategic Plan

NEW YORK — BIPOC-AIC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color Adult Industry Collective) has released its “Year One Impact Report and Strategic Plan” covering the group's past, current and upcoming work on how to address issues of race and racism in a way that would “represent sustainable change for the industry.”

“A year ago, 25 Black, indigenous and people of color in the adult industry came together to draft policies for sustainable change in the adult industry," Founder Sinnamon Love explained. "Due to COVID-19, our attention swiftly focused on protecting and caring for the most vulnerable sex workers.”

Love thanked supporters for “donating, amplifying and reporting on the vital work of BIPOC-AIC, helping us provide much-needed financial assistance, mental health [support] and educational programming for BIPOC sex workers.”

The report states, according to the directives of the group's steering committee composed of Love, Jet Setting Jasmine and Fivestar, BIPOC-AIC "delivers services and programs under three pillars: Mutual Aid, Education and Mental Health and Wellness.”

The report is available at BIPOC-AIC’s website and will also be presented this afternoon at 3 p.m. (PDT) at the YNOT Summit.
