LOS ANGELES — Alt Erotic is celebrating Friday the 13th with an industry red carpet event and party, titled “Internet Killed the Porn Star: But We Are Bringing Them Back.” Organizers have announced the event will now includes snakes and a raffle alongside tattoo artists, featured performers and other activities.
The event will be held at the company’s private studio in Tarzana, California, and will begin at 8 p.m. (PDT). Performer and tattoo artist Duke Daybreak will ink the first five interested attendees with original Friday the 13th designs until 11pm.
There will also be a $20 raffle, with winners receiving Alt Erotic gift bags worth over $100. Performer and Chief Brand Officer Misha Montana, director and CEO Ivan and Samantha Mack will personally donate swag to the bags and all proceeds will be donated to a local homeless shelter.
"When porn went to being primarily available on the internet, it oversaturated the market with content and performers. Cam sites, clip stores and other similar platforms opened the door for ordinary citizens to play porn stars,” Montana said.
"That crushed the iconic image of what a 'porn star' was; the glamorous, sexy, superstar actress," Montana continued. "We want to bring back the authentic version of what they were, and are meant to be — with an alternative twist."
The night's festivities will include a pair of unique on-site photo ops: posing with a live snake from 9-10pm, courtesy of The Snake Father; and using pre-built duplicate sets from Alt Erotic’s "Ink Motel 3" and "Inked Raw" films.
"Let the fun and games begin. We are super-amped to get glammed up for the red carpet and fill the Alt Erotic studio to celebrate Friday the 13th and the amazing people who make this industry so special,” Ivan said. “Also, check out our tattoo parlor from the nominated series ‘My Tattoo Girls’ and Alt 'Membership Website of the Year.'"
