LOS ANGELES — A precautionary production hold announced by PASS on Saturday after learning a performer within the system had tested positive for HIV has been lifted.
Today's statement from PASS follows:
PASS has received the test results for the first-generation contacts of the performer who tested positive last week. All tests are negative, and beyond the window of potential transmission. The production hold is lifted immediately.
We appreciate the efforts of all involved, particularly the performer who worked diligently during an incredibly difficult time to identify any contacts within the industry. As a community, it is essential that we continue to protect the privacy of the performer, and provide whatever support and compassion we can.
Thank you to all who observed the hold and for helping ensure the safety of all performers.
