NEW YORK — Mia Isabella was a recent guest on Fubu Radio’s “M+M+M Show” to discuss transphobia and racial issues through the prism of comedian Dave Chapelle’s controversial Netflix special "The Closer."
"Mia took the time to walk the audience through her overall outlook, family beginnings and what life is like in her high heels,” cohost Mecca Rashawn said.
Isabella noted she is uniquely qualified to speak on these topics.
"It was my pleasure to educate from my personal experience as a black trans woman who has seen and done it all,” she said.
