LENNOX, Calif. — Mistress Cyan will host a charity "slave auction" and Thanksgiving food drive for the homeless this Friday at Sanctuary LAX.
"This pervy take on the charity bachelor auction is a Sanctuary tradition dating back over 20 years," a rep explained. "Switches, submissives and Dommes volunteer to put themselves up for auction, while 'buyers' exchange nonperishable food and canned goods for 'auction money.' Bidding starts at about 9:30 pm. (PST) and the winning bidders keep their 'slave' for the duration of the party."
"This is for fun. Everything is negotiated, consensual and all safewords will be respected," the rep noted.
"The thought of people being hungry over Thanksgiving is a very disturbing thought to me," said Mistress Cyan, the owner and founder of Sanctuary LAX. "I have been fortunate enough over the past 23 years to be in a position to be able to do something to help. As a result of the COVID pandemic, many have lost their jobs and even their homes and are now on the street or in shelters. This is how we can help."
The fundraiser will run from 8 p.m to 2 a.m. (PST) at Sanctuary LAX.
"The beneficiary of this event is the Metropolitan Community Church in North Hollywood,” shared the rep. "They will distribute the donated food and blankets to food banks and the needy all over Southern California.”
