Porn Star Taylor Summers Buried; Police Have Semen Evidence

PLACENTIA, Canada – Family and friends said good-bye to porn star Taylor Summers at her funeral Tuesday in this small Newfoundland town.

Twenty-three-year-old Summers, whose real name is Natel King, was found stabbed to death in Whitemarsh, Penn., after disappearing from a photo shoot in late February.

The funeral for Summers at Sacred Heart Church in Placentia preceded her burial at a Catholic cemetery in Long Harbour.

Summers lived in Mississauga, Ontario, but her parents and other family members were from Newfoundland.

Also on Tuesday, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office disclosed an autopsy determined Summers had sex close to the time she was stabbed to death, apparently during a bondage photo session.

Anthony Joseph Frederick, 46, of Eagleville, Pa., was charged with first- and third-degree murder, abuse of a corpse and possessing an instrument of crime. He was also charged with lying to authorities.

"The medical examiner found semen in the young woman's body, which we need to compare to known samples from the alleged killer," said District Attorney Bruce Castor who noted that a search warrant was signed allowing detectives to take blood, hair and saliva sample from Frederick, who is in custody.

Police said Summers was stabbed in the chest and neck and her body was wrapped in a backdrop similar to the type used by photographers.

Another woman, identified as Jennifer Mitkus, 29, of Oaks, Pa., was charged with lying to authorities and hindering apprehension. Police said she worked as an assistant to the photographer.

It was not disclosed exactly where and when the killing took place.

Summers, a 5’8”, 138 lb., blonde porn star who specialized in bondage shoots, had traveled from her hometown of Toronto for the shoot. Also known as “the Sexy Canadian,” Summers posed in adult magazines and online sites for nearly five years.
