MONTREAL — Newly formed gay studio Disruptive Films has announced its next title, the darkly comedic "Failed Inspection" from producer and director Bree Mills, will release on Dec. 24.
Brian Bonds and Casey Everett topline as construction workers who need their latest project to pass inspection. "When unsuspecting courier Andre (Deep Dicc) arrives on site, Ty and Joe offer to do whatever it takes to get their work approved by the inspector they assume he is," a rep teased.
Mills added, "I had a great experience working with these talented actors and our crew to bring ‘Failed Inspection’ to life."
The studio debuted its first feature, "The Last Course," which has landed a nomination for the 2022 XBIZ Awards, in September. Nearly 20 "original short films that also include subsidiary brands Taboo Men, True Male and Deep Inside" are currently available on its website, noted the rep.
