HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ricky Greenwood is celebrating his third consecutive XBIZ Awards win as "Trans Director of the Year."
Additionally, a trio of projects directed by Greenwood took home honors across straight, trans and gay genres: Adult Time's "Sweet, Sweet Sally Mae" for "All-Girl Movie of the Year" and "Best All-Girl Sex Scene" (shared by Ana Foxxx and Scarlit Scandal); TransSensual's "TS Love Stories 6" for "Best Trans Sex Scene" (shared by Casey Kisses and Mckenzie Lee); and Noir Male for "Best Gay Sex Scene" (shared by DeAngelo Jackson and Dante Colle).
Overall, Greenwood-directed titles earned more than 40 nominations.
"This year’s awards looked incredible, and I’m sad that I missed it. I’m honored that my talent and I won multiple awards," said Greenwood "'Sweet Sweet Sally Mae' was filmed before COVID and was different than anything I’ve done in adult. The cast and crew for the film were incredible, and Adult Time promoted it well. I’m glad it won multiple awards."
“Thank you, XBIZ, for also recognizing my trans and gay work this year, too," he added.
The 2022 XBIZ Awards were announced live Sunday, Jan. 9 at the Hollywood Palladium; click here for a full list of winners.
