LOS ANGELES — The forthcoming memoir penned by Maitland Ward, titled "Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood," has a new official release date of Sept. 6, 2022.
Atria Books, an imprint of publisher Simon and Schuster, pushed the book's release from early July.
“I wanted to get the word out that my book’s release date has been moved a couple of months to September, which is historically the most coveted time period to launch a new title, so I’m actually quite excited about this new turn of events,” said Ward.
A rep noted "Rated X" has "topped Amazon’s pre-sale lists since its official cover announcement back in December, and fans can still count on her dropping racy excerpts from the tome in the coming weeks and months."
Ward's forthcoming mainstream comedy series "The Big Time" is also set for an autumn unveiling.
