Penthouse Celebrates 2022 XBIZ Honors Win for 'Chief Exec of the Year'

LOS ANGELES — Penthouse World Media is offering its congratulations to CEO Moose upon his 2022 XBIZ Honors win, online industry edition, as "Chief Exec of the Year."

"Working closely with Moose at Penthouse for several years, it’s no surprise that he has won this prestigious XBIZ Award,” VP of Penthouse TV Drew Rosenfeld said. “Moose has a strong business sense carried by his magnetic personality. The entire team at Penthouse wishes to congratulate our CEO.”

President of Penthouse Global Licensing Caroline Kirkendoll echoed the praise of her colleagues.

"Under Moose's leadership, Penthouse has been able to return to its roots as a mainstream media company with a truly global footprint. He is a terrific leader who understands that this iconic brand is more than just a magazine for men; it is a celebration of empowerment, sex positivity and a courageously rebellious lifestyle," she said. "From a licensing standpoint, this has allowed the brand to become much more relevant with younger demographics who are hungry for authenticity and disruption. Thanks to Moose's vision, Penthouse is poised to resurface as an influential resource for consumers around the world, nearly 60 years after its founding."

Chief Technical Officer Lucky Smith also congratulated Moose’s awards win.

"At the risk of oversimplifying, Moose makes getting up for work every day an actual pleasure. After 30-plus years in this industry, I can assure you of the unique nature of that one small nuance," Smith shared. "I’ve not met more than a handful of individuals across the business that can combine Moose’s ease of demeanor with keen and visionary insights, all while honestly listening to everyone around him."

Moose was also commended by Director of Pet Projects and Production Manager Sam Phillips.

"I really cannot say enough great things about Moose,” Phillips said. “He is a marketing mastermind who makes the art of multitasking and managing look effortlessly cool. Understated and quiet about his achievements, Moose has been successfully running both Girlfriends Films and Penthouse while simultaneously balancing his biggest job as a devoted husband and father.”

"I have so much respect for Moose's ability to compartmentalize and handle everyone's needs. You can always rely on him to be fair, kind and to run the company with both his heart and his mind,” Phillips added. “Moose makes working for Penthouse feel like family and we are all so proud our patriarch was recognized by XBIZ.”

Moose previously received the XBIZ "Executive Leadership Award" in 2011 in his capacity as then-VP of Girlfriends Films; for a full list of recipients of the 2022 XBIZ Honors, online industry edition, click here.
