LOS ANGELES — Dr. Susan Block (aka “Dr. Suzy”) has posted her new book, titled “Kink: Another Guide for the Perplexed (with Apologies to Maimonides).”
Drawing upon her 30 years as a sex therapist in private practice, and input from "Masters, Mistresses and fellow kinksters," Block’s new publication addresses such questions as: “What is the joy of kink?”, “What American President was first to use the word ‘kink’ to describe a feeling?” and “Where do our kinks come from?”
“Kink is in the air, whether it shocks you to your core or leaves you wanting more,” Block said. “Come with me on a sex-educational journey through the dazzling and powerful, yet often perplexing and hazardous world of kink in history, art, relationships, fashion, food, religion, politics, protest, love, war and your brain.”
“Very often, helping someone to handle their kink is a gateway to guiding them into a better, healthier, happier life in general," Block added.
Other recent titles in her “Guide for the Perplexed” series include “Cougar Sexuality,” “Sexy Masks” and “Sex & Dating in the Coronapocalypse.”
