Howard Stern Debuts 'Shark Tank'-Style Contest for Sex Toy Entrepreneurs

NEW YORK — Pleasure product execs appeared yesterday on "The Howard Stern Show" as judges for its first "Sex Toy Tycoon" contest, a "Shark Tank"-style competition for pleasure product entrepreneurs.

The segment was sponsored by PinkCherry.com; Stern’s judges included CalExotics president Susan Colvin, Doc Johnson CCO/CEO Chad Braverman and sexologist Dr. Sunny Rodgers.

The judging panel was rounded up by Stern regular Ronnie Mund and his fiancée Stephanie.

Three pleasure product entrepreneurs “gave their best elevator pitches to a panel of professionals in the show’s very first 'Sex Toy Tycoon' contest,” a rep for the show explained.

“Today’s mission is to find the 'Elon Musk of muff,' the 'Bezos of boners,' Stern quipped during the show.

The three contestants were Autoblow A.I.’s Brian Sloan, Balldo’s Jerry Davies and sex doll rental entrepreneur Brian Herron.

CalExotics’ Colvin told the self-styled “King of All Media” that the first things she asks when assessing a product's commercial viability are, "‘How easy is it to use? How unique? What percentage of the population will be interested in it? And what’s the price point?’ Those are really the critical issues.”

Sloan explained the Autoblow A.I. is “the first sexual device on earth that uses artificial intelligence and a patented 'penis gripper' to give you a blowjob using real-life techniques.”

Davies described the Balldo as “the world’s first ball dildo. It fits over the top of the balls and makes them rigid so they can be used for penetration.”

“The Balldo actually triggers something called a 'ballgasm,'" Davies added. “It’s a completely new type of orgasm that’s created by the stimulation of the balls inside an orifice.”

Sloan’s Autoblow A.I. took the top prize with 11 points from the judges.

“We’re already developing our next generation and the next-next Autoblow A.I. that will have internet features, so there’s plenty of costs there,” Sloan told Stern. “I’ll probably write a check for that today to one of the engineers working on it.”
