SAN FRANCISCO — Raging Stallion Studios will release an array of bonus content ahead of the April 22 debut of new episodes of "Ride or Die," the studio's sprawling, multi-part prison crime drama.
Among the bonus content, castmate and Falcon/NakedSword exclusive Andre Donovan stars in the music video "Ride on It," penned by and featuring the star. Produced by Remixlab, which wrote the score for "Ride or Die," the original hip hop single is "a centerpiece" of the series, noted a rep.
"Ride or Die" director Tony Dimarco also helmed the video.
The feature provided "a unique opportunity to not only create a fascinating character but also write and perform original music for the series,” said Donovan. “I’m so proud of both the video and the song, and I’m grateful to be working with people like [Falcon/NakedSword President] Tim Valenti, Tony and Remixlab who’ve allowed me to help realize their vision for this ambitious project."
Valenti noted Donovan has "proven himself to be a valuable, and hot, addition to the Falcon/NakedSword family. He's a triple-threat talent who has turned out some amazing music, not to mention a stellar performance in 'Ride or Die.'"
"I'm excited to be able to offer fans free, exclusive bonus content as a 'thank you' for their overwhelming support of this groundbreaking narrative series," Valenti added.
Donovan's "Ride on It" music video will debut exclusively on RagingStallion.com Friday, April 29; the single is currently streaming on iTunes and Spotify and most major streaming platforms.
Additional bonus content includes a mini-documentary chronicling the production of "Ride or Die" and an interview leading man Cole Connor, available now, as well as a comic interlude, debuting Friday, where members of the cast, garbed as prisoners and guards, performed "Cell Block Tango" from the musical "Chicago" to blow off steam.
