LOS ANGELES — Cherie DeVille's latest self-produced clip, titled "Tax Day," has received a mainstream media boost with a plug from the New York Post.
The article, published Saturday, "lets readers in on Cherie's goal to get her fans, especially younger men, to take investing seriously. With the rise of crypto and NFTs, Cherie worries her fans will try to go for flash, instead of safer investments. And in her video with Alison Rey and Michael Vegas, Cherie gives her advice in a way fans will understand," a rep said.
Playing the role of "Suze Whoreman" in the 30-minute clip, DeVille counsels the couple and chides Vegas for handling their money irresponsibly. She offers financial advice, which includes Vegas receiving a double pegging.
"I've talked about it before, but it bears repeating — investing in your future and paying taxes is necessary," DeVille noted. "As I said to the New York Post, investing should be boring, not exciting. I think ‘Tax Day’ is the perfect day to get this message across and help educate."
The Post added, "Porn industry insiders said DeVille was likely banking more than a million a year from her various ventures. The star herself declined to comment on her own personal finances — but said she always made sure to pay the tax man on time."
