LOS ANGELES — Alana Evans has been cast as the lead in mainstream production “Liza: Warden From Hell.”
The film is an homage to the sexploitation “women in prison” movies of the 1970s, and is being promoted with original retro poster art by Ams Over.
The project is helmed by Dustin Ferguson ("Amityville In The Hood”), who had previously cast Evans in "Moon of the Bloodbeast," "Apex Predators" and "The Beast Beneath."
"After working with Dustin on a few of his past horror movies," Evans told XBIZ, "I am so excited to be offered this series. His style of retro horror brings out the fan girl in me and I hope to immortalize my role as Liza."
Production for “Liza: Warden From Hell” will begin June 16, 2022 in Burbank, California.
Evans will star alongside Brinke Stevens (“Slumber Party Massacre”), Rocky DeMarco (“Demolition High”) and Marneen Fields (“Hellhole”).
“Liza: Warden From Hell” is slated to be released on Blu-ray and VOD in August.
The production company is SCS Entertainment.
