PWD Introduces New Ad Tech Platform PWDigital at XBIZ Miami

LOS ANGELES — Prestige Worldwide Digital (PWD) has unveiled its new ad tech platform PWDigital, which enables creators to embed engageable moments within video content, at XBIZ Miami 2022.

“PWDigital's patented technology allows for a new avenue for platforms, brands, content creators and influencers to reach and engage their audience like never before,” a rep said. “Developed by seasoned media and entertainment technology leaders and inventors, PWDigital represents a new era of social engagement through video.”

PWDigital offers “an innovative, in-video, contextually driven, frictionless acquisition experience for information, digital and physical goods, contextually driven advertising, user acquisition and more,” the rep explained. “By delivering the right ad in the right video at the right time for the right audience, creators will be able connect like never before.”

PWD’s patented technology is designed to enable content creators, owners, brands and retailers to engage viewers across any device or screen in real time.

Ads are triggered throughout video playback via a Source Activated Moment (SAM), and appear as a discrete overlay in the video and are visible for a set of time before fading and letting the next SAM appear.

The technology “uses an immersive approach to interactive video to inspire brand loyalty organically through continuous, personalized engagement,” the rep added. “PWDigital also reduces audience drift while yielding nuanced measurements and substantially increased avenues for monetization.”

According to PWD's Remi St-Maur, the patented technology "provides new types of engagement which allow a myriad new ways to monetize the video via brand placement, merchandise, or subscriptions sales. These engageable moments also can provide additional information, scenes and limited offers that most fans crave, but is not currently available within video content.”

PWDigital has already been introduced to mainstream publishers and content creators "and is gaining significant traction,” St-Maur continued. “We feel that the timing could not be better to introduce our technology to the adult industry via XBIZ Miami, one of the most highly respected and attended events for industry professionals.”

St-Maur emphasized that the technology “will encourage more content creators to own their own audiences and allow them to engage with that audience in a way that is not prevalent today, because it is not invasive and the engageable moments have the ability to be contextualized to the content and/or the specific audience, down to the individual viewer.”

“You don’t have to be a ‘tech person’ to incorporate what PWDigital is bringing to the table — which is more monetization opportunities, new fan engagement, a better user experience,” he concluded.
