Swiss Navy Signs On as Lube Sponsor of International Mr. Leather Weekend

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — M.D. Science Labs, maker of the Swiss Navy brand, has signed on as the exclusive lubricant sponsor of the International Mr. Leather (IML) and International Mr. Bootblack (IMBB) weekend events.

"Patience is truly a virtue,” said Ellen Friedman, regional director of sales, events and marketing for M.D. Science. “I’ve been working with IML’s sponsorship coordinator, Jon Krongaard, for many, many years and we were finally able to make this partnership happen. I could not be more thrilled for Swiss Navy to be the exclusive lubricant company as part of this wonderful organization and their events.”

IML is an international conference and contest of leathermen held annually since 1979 in Chicago. This year, IML starts Thursday, May 26 and continues through Monday, May 30.

"We are excited to have Swiss Navy join this year’s IML-IMBB weekend as our lube sponsor," said executive director Bill Stadt. "We look forward to a long and mutually successful partnership with Swiss Navy."

Friedman has been spearheading Swiss Navy sponsorships for several years.
