LOS ANGELES — Newcomer Lucky Fate stars as the male lead in the new Adult Time feature “Grinders" directed by Ricky Greenwood.
“Grinders” is set in 1999 on New Year's Eve and centers on Fate’s character, whom a rep described as "a talented skater, but those who surround him hold him back. Lucky finds comfort in Morgan (Maya Woulfe), an old friend from high school. At a New Year’s Eve party, Lucky and Morgan finally kiss and escape to the rooftop.”
The two eventually give in to their chemistry and decide to face their future together.
"I want to thank director Ricky and Adult Time for this amazing experience," Fate said. "It was so awesome to be able to skate and show off my skills. I also want to thank the rest of the cast and the crew, including the art department, who allowed me to help with the graffiti on set. I am extremely proud to be included in the entire process of the film."
