NEW YORK — Romi Chase has released a candid new interview on her own YouTube channel exploring her life and career.
Chase touches upon the tragedies she has experienced in her life, from being a shy misfit who admired and loved her businessman father, and then lost him in a deadly car accident, to her mother passing away less than a month later due to drug and alcohol abuse. Chase also discusses how she and her sister were adopted by relatives purely for financial reasons.
"We were neglected horribly. I went from everything you could possibly dream of to having nothing, literally starving at one point,” Chase recalled. “I had no choice but to move in with a boyfriend at age 17.”
Chase went on to attend college and earn a teaching degree and now relies on her background and current business success to coach women about their careers and how to navigate social media.
The 31-minute interview, billed as the first installment in a series, can be found here.
