MONTREAL — Director Ricky Greenwood's new Adult Time feature "Grinders" makes its exclusive VOD debut today, to be followed by a wholesale/retail premiere later this month.
A rep described the feature, which follows Lucky Fate as a skater kid in late-'90s Los Angeles who has the potential and talent to go far, but is stuck in a dead-end life amongst his coterie of criminally delinquent friends. Reconnecting with former high school friend Morgan (Maya Woulfe), he sees an opportunity to start fresh with her out in Texas rather than stay and follow in the footsteps of his deadbeat dealer dad (Tommy Pistol).
Other cast members include Vanna Bardot, Lilly Bell, Vicki Chase, Robby Echo and Charlotte Sins.
"Grinders" will have an exclusive run on AdultEmpire through Wednesday, July 20, before moving to other streaming platforms; the film will also be released as a single-disc DVD.
