LALExpo Unveils Details of Upcoming Show

CALI, Colombia — Organizers of LALExpo have released more details about the Latin American adult business conference, which will have its official opening ceremony on Sunday in Cali, Colombia.

The eighth edition of LALExpo will take place July 23-26. The show was previously postponed after twice being forced to relocate due to political and media pressure and a moral panic campaign by religiously motivated groups.

“We are very excited because in a few days we will meet to enjoy the eighth edition of LALExpo,” a rep said. “This year, despite the obstacles, we have shown the strength and unity of our industry.”

This year’s event will be inaugurated by the signing of an agreement with the Mayor of Cali and other government agencies.

On July 24, the rep explained, “We will sign the Inter-institutional Agreement for Legality and Good Industry Practices with the Mayor of Cali, and our sponsors, studios, models and all those attending our event will take part.”

The rep said the agreement would “mark a before-and-after” in the history of the Latin American adult industry, and that it “constitutes a great achievement for our industry, since our rights and contribution to the progress of the country are being recognized. We are also committing ourselves to ensure the protection of children, defend the rights of women, guarantee the free development of the personality and comply with quality regulations and standards.”

Scheduled speakers include noted Latin American performers and influencers Aida Cortés, Daiky Gamboa, Hanna Miller, Juan Bustos, Karen Sevillano, Iván Marín, Gaby Ferrer and others.

On Sunday, after the official opening, LALExpo will honor models, content creators and influencers with a special dinner sponsored by FansRevenue. The event, the rep noted, will offer an opportunity for attendees to connect with different brands and explore the possibility of working with them.

The 2022 edition of the conference will also include the launch of a film project about the event, titled “LALExpo, Blessing or Blasphemy?”

“We will soon open a casting call to find the industry talents to participate with us in the film,” the rep added.

Another 2022 innovation will be the LALExpo Model Academy, offering “an exclusive training plan for models attending the conference, which seeks to professionalize the activity of webcam modeling. Our program will provide great benefits, not only academically but also financially, since it allows access to the events that LALExpo organizes at a preferential rate, including master classes on topics related to webcam modeling, support material and many more benefits.”

Scheduled parties at LALExpo 2022 include events hosted by Cosmo Payment, Paxum, Chaturbate and BongaCams and featuring local acts such as Kevin Roldán, Dálmata, Luigi 21 Plus and DJ Marcela Reyes.

The Cali show will also offer attendees a preview of future LALExpo endeavors, such as a February 2023 business conference on the island of Curaçao; fall 2022 workshops in Bogotá, Medellín and Bucaramanga; and a new 2023 LATAM tour with stops in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
