INDIA — Besharam has partnered with youth education platform Terribly Tiny Tales for "Taboo Talks," an Instagram series created to initiate and lead discussions on sexual health and wellness topics often considered taboo.
Terribly Tiny Tales boasts a readership of 12 million social media users and 1.2 million active subscribers and is described by a rep as "a safe space for Indian youth to explore their emotions and express themselves."
The platform has recently expanded into a community to enable young people to make "informed decisions about pleasure, safety and relationship with self and others," with guidance from Indian influencers like Dr. Tanaya, Leeza MangalDas, Avanti Nagral, Seema Anand and Rytasha Rathore.
The rep noted that Terribly Tiny Tales' dedication to supporting sex-positivity in India made it a perfect match for Besharam, India’s largest sex-positive brand. "Besharam identifies collaboration and partnership as one of its core values, which led to the curation and launch of 'Taboo Talks' with Terribly Tiny Tales."
Season Two of "Taboo Talks" recently premiered with the core purpose of initiating "stigmatized conversations around sex, pleasure and sex toys."
The season premiere focuses on bolstering viewers’ understanding of sex toys, the rep said, while subsequent episodes continue the dialogue around masturbation myths as well as foreplay, and reveal orgasm facts for viewers.
The season finale takes its viewers on "a journey to understanding the origin of sex toys in India and around the globe" with Seema Anand.
"Taboo Talks" has drawn more than 15 million views, the rep said, and has "engaged an audience of more than 2 million."
