LOS ANGELES — TeamSkeet's new romantic comedy "Shoot Your Shot — a FreeUse Movie," starring Nicky Rebel, Penelope Kay and Peter Green, is now streaming.
The FreeUse Fantasy series is set in a world where "people get to 'free use' each other sexually anytime, anywhere, with implicit consent," a rep explained.
"Shoot Your Shot" was directed by Vicky Vortex and written by Young Gerry, Pepper B, Acapulco Dan and Vincent Verga; Verga also served as executive producer.
Stand-alone site ShootYourShotMovie.com includes the official trailer, cast interviews, the "Smash or Pass" game, a video description of what "free use" means and other exclusive content.
Rebel plays a salesman who works in an office "but dreams of becoming a successful writer. He has his sights set on a pretty co-worker (Kay), but fails at shooting his shot when his obnoxious rival (Green) gets in the way. Penelope realizes that she chose the wrong man and goes after Nicky, but she fails to shoot her shot as well.
"Dejected, Nicky decides once and for all to pursue his writing ambitions in order to finally be worthy of the girl of his dreams," continued the rep. "Penelope, meanwhile, works her way up the corporate ladder and each becomes more confident in who they are and what they want. Once Nicky’s novel is released, he’s ready to once-and-for-all shoot his shot with Penelope. But does she still want to shoot her shot with him?"
James Drake, Bella Forbes, Charley Hart, Leana Lovings, Alexander Vega and Eden West are featured as Rebel's colorful co-workers, and Willow Ryder plays his supportive best friend.
"Each character plays an interconnected and important role in Nicky's evolution," the rep noted, adding that "Shoot Your Shot" inhabits the Team Skeet "Skinematic Universe" and includes crossovers from the studio's other series in the manner of its previous feature, "The Corruption of Dakota Burns."
Extended cuts with exclusive material are now available on FreeUseFantasy.com, BFFs.com and TeenPies.
“I am extremely excited for the release of this movie, and grateful to work with such an amazing cast,” said Rebel. “This was an amazing experience and it was so much fun to be a part of it.”
