NEW YORK CITY — Bree Mills, the CCO of Adult Time, was the featured guest on a recent episode of “The Lisa Ann Experience."
Mills talked about how she moved into the industry after spending time in marketing and communications. She was initially recruited around the time of the 2008 recession and felt the adult industry was safe from larger economic turmoil. She reflected that her first years were similar to a university experience in that she quickly learned just how big and varied the adult sector was.
After the company that hired her, Gamma Entertainment, realized some recently acquired websites were underperforming, Mills had the opportunity to figure out how to improve these brands. Leaning on her marketing background, Mills talked to consumers about what they wanted and reprioritized storytelling, acting and quality over quantity. She soon became more interested in directing, and discovered just how much talent exists in the industry.
