LOS ANGELES — Lust Cinema has released the first three episodes of director Casey Calvert's new six-part series, "Going Up."
Calvert "pushed the limits of porn as never seen before with this one," said a rep. "The series follows the Curtis Theater Group as they do all they can to keep their show, the sold-out edgy play, 'The Voices Are Loud,' from falling apart."
The series features Seth Gamble, Maya Woulfe, Victoria Voxxx, Charlotte Sartre and Tyler Knight, with Lilly Bell, Sonia Harcourt, Kira Noir, Derrick Pierce, Ryan Keely, Brad Newman, Anna Claire Clouds and Isiah Maxwell.
Seth Gamble enthused about the production.
"My role as Travis was challenging and ranged in every emotion. I acted playing an actor... acting," he said. "I truly feel it’s one of the best acting roles I’ve ever done. And I’m grateful I got to do it for Casey. I’m really excited and want to thank the amazing cast and crew that delivered on all cylinders."
Sartre also remarked on her role.
"This is the biggest role I've ever gotten to do, and it was so much fun," she said. "I'm very grateful for the opportunity and for being able to work with so many amazing people."
Producer and studio head Erika Lust also discussed the release.
"Going Up is a story of crazy ups and downs, that pushes the characters to the edge of their limits. This is probably one of my all-time favorite Lust Cinema Originals," Lust said. "Watching the series, you'll suffer with these actors in their mission to keep the show from falling apart while enjoying great, hot sex, all racing against the clock. I love how Casey merged the theater's behind-the-scenes with porn so organically."
