HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve Pictures has released director Will Ryder's "Love, Sex & Music," a country music drama starring September Reign.
The title features Vanna Bardot, Whitney Wright, Nina Elle, Misty Stone, Madison Summers, Samantha Lexi, Zerella Skies, Cecilia Taylor, April Love, Jay Romero, Dorian Del Isla, Joshua Lewis, Rusty Nails, James Bartholet and Frank Bukkwyd.
Reign plays country music singer Dixie, who moves to Nashville and "discovers that Music Row is not the welcoming home she expected, but rather a den of lies, deceit, court cases and corporate greed," said a rep. "Finding herself smack dab in the middle of a Nashville scandal after writing the hottest song of the year, Dixie is at odds with famous singing superstar Missy Free (Bardot) who wants to record her song. The music label executives want to steal it as Dixie is driven to the breaking point."
Ryder discussed how he drew on his past for the title.
"This Nashville story is real because I lived it back when I was in the music business in the 1990s dealing with a major country music record label," he said. "I saw firsthand how Nashville dealt with outsiders, especially those of color, and I finally got the opportunity to create this telling drama. I’ll never forgot what took place on Music Row."
Reign enthused about her part, saying, "This is the role and script I’ve been waiting for."
The title is available on Adam & Eve Plus. View an SFW trailer here.
